Published on Aug 10, 2013: Musician and spoken word artist Daniel Sperry eloquently expresses Kabir, the mystical poet and saint of India. Accompanied by his cello and piano as a modern day troubadour bard, Daniel has been speaking the poetry of ancient mystics such as Rumi, Hafiz and Kabir along with contemporary poets such as Mary Kenyon and William Stafford. Daniel is available for private concerts and original musical portraits; he can be reached through his website (cellomansings.com) or by email at cellomansings@gmail.com.
All cinematography was done in Fairfield, a small town in southeastern Iowa known for its creativity, innovation and dedication to growth in individual and collective consciousness. Cinematography of Daniel was done at a house concert, also in Fairfield.
I did all camera work, editing, motion graphics, color grading and directing. Cinematography was done using a Canon 5DM3 with Canon L Series lenses and Rhode microphones. Feel free to go to my media website – marcbaraka, com.
